From Decor to Tabletop…a swoonable holiday roundup

It’s the most swoonable time of the year! And what better way to get into the holiday spirit than some seriously swoonable decor? Check out my roundup of some seriously inspiring ideas – from tabletops to tree trimmings, you’ll be decking the halls in no time.

I love the idea of letting your day to day aesthetic drive the way you decorate your home for the holidays – from super minimal to absolutely ornate, let your space feel like YOU and one that you are prepared to cozy up in for the next month.

1. My Scandinavian Home shares this ultra chic advent calendar 2. These Urban Outfitter twinkle lights are the perfect way to add a little shine to any space. 3. Apartment 34 decks the halls with a swoonable metallic palette. 4. Say goodbye to the traditional treestand and hello to Mokassin’s rattan basket-turned-stand.

Every year I like to tackle a DIY project – something about the process of making decorations from scratch really gets me in the spirit…and gives me the headspace to reflect on the last year.

1. Follow Homedit’s lead and repurpose wine bottles as candleholders. 2. Simple, chic and fragrant, Spoon Fork Bacon’s rosemary wreaths have so many fun uses – place settings, ornaments, gift toppers, you name it! 3. Twine, a few clips of your Christmas tree and a mantle are all you need for Local Milk’s rustic garland. 4. You are just a few simple steps away from this Scandinavian inspired wreath…follow Alexa Holz’s super easy tutorial to make your own.

And now to my favorite part…the gift of giving! And it’s not always what’s in the package that counts – put a litlte extra thoughtfulness into the presentation of your gifts to make the recipient feel super special.

1. Local Milk combines traditional holiday elements with rustic paper and twine to create the perfect package. 2. I like to keep an arsenal of hostess gifts and Dust Jacket’s jar of treat mix is a sweet alternative. 3. And don’t forget to thank guests for their fun holiday cheer – this little bundle from Domaine is the perfect way to do so.  4. Artifact Uprising incorporates photographs into her wrapping – a fun idea for remembering adventures from the past year.

Whenever I entertain, I love to incorporate seasonal elements into all aspects of the evening – and Christmas is no exception! Whether it’s textural updates to my usual setting or leafy greens, here are a few easy ways to add an undeniable spirit to your tablesetting.
