As evidenced by Athena’s plans for her new home, it’s pretty clear we’ve caught the Scandi design bug here at EyeSwoon. The Scandinavian aesthetic tows the line between stark and serene — it’s dramatic in its minimalism and we just can’t seem to get enough. Since we know we’re hardly the only ones feeling the clean lines and pared-down palettes, here we thought we’d share four of our favorite sites for Scandinavian decor. Dig in and bookmark away!

Clockwise from top left:
  1. Stil Inspiration: With a talent for creating just-so vignettes, it’s no surprise Pella Hedeby, the blogger and Pinterest sensation behind Stil Inspiration, is also an interior stylist. Along with home tours and product previews, the site is also full of gorgeous glimpses into Pella’s own home.

  2. The Design Chaser: Michelle Halford, New Zeland-based interior stylist and creator of The Design Chaser, certainly has an eye for the chic. If you’re looking for a site that  incorporates plenty of contrast and loads of Scandi-style sophistication, this is your spot.

  3. My Scandinavian Home: Every time we visit addictive site My Scandinavian Home, we end up pages-deep in the archives. The blog is the handiwork of Nicki Brantmark, a Swedish resident by way of London. The blog definitely lives up to its name — it’s just so homey and inviting.

  4. Elisabeth Heier: Okay, so it’s clear we’re drawn to dreamy blogs created by interior stylists. And who could blame us? Yet another case in point is the eponymous site of Norway-based creative Elisabeth Heier. Here you’ll find a window into her own projects, plus a slew of other inspiring homes and happenings.
