When it gets this cold out I immediately begin swooning of sitting by the fireplace!

That had me thinking…..It’s amazing how a pile of stacked wood can add so much beauty to a room.

So warm and elegant without trying so hard….I suppose because it’s purposeful.  Even strictly as a design feature it feels relaxed and unpretentious because of its textural rawness.  I also love the dichotomy of using a natural material in a sharp, confined, rectilinear shape.
