Where to Drink or Nosh Between Shows at NYFW

Blue Bottle La Colombe Jacques Torres cookies Hanamizuki Cafe

New York Fashion Week is coming right up on February 10th to 18th. And in the days and weeks leading up to the event, all prep tends to center around one big question — what I am going to wear?! But once the madness of the sartorial extravaganza hits, it’s clear there’s another important, and often overlooked consideration — where to grab a quick drink or nibble between shows. So to help stave off the thirst, or even the hanger (eep!), here are some super-convenient suggestions that are just a hop, skip and a jump away from four of the major venues.

Clockwise from top left:
  1. Blue Bottle
Head to Blue Bottle’s Chelsea location for a yummy cup of coffee right around the corner from Made’s Milk Studios. If you’re hungry, in addition to pastries they offer liege waffles, fresh from their Brooklyn kitchen.
    Where: 450 West 15th St.
    Close to: Milk Studios

  2. La Colombe Torrefaction
No need to settle for sub-par coffee to get your fix. La Colombe makes a delicious roast, and the Tribeca location is within a 5-minute walk of Spring Studios.
    Where: 319 Church St.
    Close to: Spring Studios

  3. Cafe Hanamizuki
This bright, sweet urban oasis serves wine, organic tea, Japanese rice balls and other light fare. The serene atmosphere is great for recharging before delving back into the fashion frenzy.
    Where: 143 West 29th St.
Close to: Skylight at Moynihan Station

  4. Jacques Torres
One outpost of the legendary chocolatier is just a 5-minute walk from Skylight Clarkson Square. Chocolate chip cookies and Wicked Spicy Hot Chocolate, here we come.
    Where: 350 Hudson St.
    Close to: Skylight Clarkson Sq.
