Design 5 Swoon Worthy Things:

Apparatus Studio

Gabriel Hendifar & Jeremy Anderson are the duo behind the impeccably designed Apparatus Studio. What began as a DIY project to fill a functional void in their personal lighting needs has meteorically skyrocketed into one of the most coveted design studios. From the thoughtful and timeless design to the quality of the materials, everything these two touch is just so swoony. The lighting and objects have a decorative yet utilitarian depth that is most often inspired by travel. Each handcrafted design begins with the material, as an essential starting point that dictates the form. Unique and natural materials like leather, African wooden bowls, horsehair or salvaged brass piping evoke history and newness at once; an old world charm, elevated elegance and a keen playful aesthetic. The work is smart, thoughtful & engaging – all the while remaining shockingly simple and ridiculously stylish. I can share with all of you swooners that these two partners in life and business inform my eye on a daily basis. I am honored that they have shared the 5 swoon-worthy thing’s they are coveting for their new home.
