*Lighting Lead Time: 16-18 weeks.
APPARATUS is a New York-based interdisciplinary studio founded by Gabriel Hendifar. An eye for bespoke finishes and storied detail lends their unique, environmental embellishments a sense of lauded, singular personality.
The Cylinder Up Light elevates the experience of functional lighting by throwing light upward to give the illusion of a higher ceiling, enhancing the architectural structure of the room. The uplight also has the benefit of boosting ambient light levels.
Directional light emanates from recessed points within the simple metal forms. Their streamlined structure and hefty scale allow these pieces to stand alone or be grouped together, serving as primary or secondary light sources.

About the Artist
Aliyah Sadaf
The evocative artwork of Chicago-based designer, Aliyah Sadaf brings a visual and tactile expression to any interior. As a master of detail and a connoisseur of materials, ingenuity is at the forefront but there is also a resounding simplicity to her mixed media creations that confounds expectations. The diminutive size of her work explores the interplay of scale and proportion, allowing a room to unfold as it wants to—moment to moment, mood to mood.
