Imbued with a rich sense of history, each ceramic iteration by Canoa Lab is built by hand at a private workshop in Valencia, Spain. Local materials are honed in harmony with ancient techniques to lend each made-to-order piece a modern translation that channels the colors, textures, and forms of the old world.
Born slowly, out of relentless attention to detail, designs extend a daily invitation into the rituals of the Iberian, Roman, and Greek societies of the Mediterranean. Stoneware is handmade using a press mold and lost wax, with grog from Manises, and brushings of experimental glaze.
Expressive and feminine, the texture-rich surface of the Isolated n.21 Vase is formed through a process of coiling.
Dimensions: Ø 23,5cm, height 43,5cm.
Technique: Coiling.
Uses and cleaning: Not watertight.
Clean with a damp cloth or small brush.
