Rivet Shelf Small
Contemporary storage with a streamlined, metallic allure.
Constructed by hand using a traditional riveting technique, The Rivet Series blends time-honored craftsmanship with raw, industrial appeal. Laser-cut raw aluminum sheets are joined together using a basic hammer tool to compose the edited and architectural Rivet Shelf.
This faceted compartment for basic storage is designed for an artful display of decorative objects and functional shelving in equal measure. Raw aluminum is known to patinate beautifully over time, eliciting a storied aesthetic that bears the full life of its metal materiality.
Please note due to the unfinished nature of aluminum, scratches and natural irregularities may occur from piece to piece.

About the Artist
Aliyah Sadaf
The evocative artwork of Chicago-based designer, Aliyah Sadaf brings a visual and tactile expression to any interior. As a master of detail and a connoisseur of materials, ingenuity is at the forefront but there is also a resounding simplicity to her mixed media creations that confounds expectations. The diminutive size of her work explores the interplay of scale and proportion, allowing a room to unfold as it wants to—moment to moment, mood to mood.
