Dune Coupe Cereal Bowl Set of 4

$140

Each ceramic tableware piece by Jono Pandolfi Ceramics is formed, glazed, and fired by a team of 10 artisans at a 6000-square-foot industrial building in Union City, New Jersey overlooking the Hudson River. Each piece calls for its own unique production process—a craft that can entail as many as 15 individual steps to produce a single work. The eponymous studio utilizes six potter wheels and 10 kilns to create their bespoke dinnerware for world-renowned restaurants, leading hospitality groups, and of course, the home cooks.

The bestselling Coupe Collection is offered here in Dune—an exclusive neutral colorway of Beige Glaze and Brown Clay Range. A chef herself, Athena has long felt a kinship to Jono’s artisanal ceramics with many of his pieces in her personal collection at home. This exclusive Dune colorway mimics the earthy, raw aesthetic of the rolling dunes near her Amagansett residence where she loves to host all year round. Originally designed with chef, Daniel Humm for the Nomad Hotel in NYC, The Coupe Collection is beloved for its impressive range and raw, edited aesthetic. Each Coupe Collection piece is made up of a clay body and color glaze. The profile’s gentle curves and edited proportions are complemented by earthy texture and handwrought detailing, making this distinctive collection a culinary mainstay imagined to last a lifetime.

About the Artist

JONO PANDOLFI

In 2004 with just one wheel and a kiln, Jono Pandolfi set out to achieve a simple mission: to design unique dinnerware options for the hospitality industry. Now the business has grown to 10 kilns and 6 wheels but the dedication to quality and preservation of the craft remains. Each piece is designed with its own unique production process some requiring up to 15 steps enlisting artisanal methods from slip casting to jiggering, and good old-fashioned wheel throwing. This thoughtful and personal approach is what sets Jono’s designs apart, bringing authenticity and soul to your table.
