Large Footed Bowl Terracotta
*Made to order, kindly allow a lead time of approximately 6 weeks from order date.
Designed by Athena Calderone and Cameron Bishop, creator of Beau Rush Ceramics, this petite, footed bowl is crafted by hand to add a punctuation mark of style and old world charm to your table. Raw black clay finished in a high contrast English porcelain wash invites each iteration to develop uniquely with wear, emphasizing the rituals of the owner. The patina will evolve with the life of the dish, accruing unique character flourishes from exposure to heat, smoke, and salt. Use as a considered catchall for palo santo or jewelry or style solo as a simple, spirited container. Handmade designs are one of a kind and will feature slight variations.
This is a one-of-a-kind item and therefore each one is unique. Variations in color, texture, size, and shape should be expected.

About the Artist
Aliyah Sadaf
The evocative artwork of Chicago-based designer, Aliyah Sadaf brings a visual and tactile expression to any interior. As a master of detail and a connoisseur of materials, ingenuity is at the forefront but there is also a resounding simplicity to her mixed media creations that confounds expectations. The diminutive size of her work explores the interplay of scale and proportion, allowing a room to unfold as it wants to—moment to moment, mood to mood.
