Designed to invite the art of Japanese mastery into the home, the Chef’s Knife by Sekkin is especially engineered to deliver an unmatched experience of elegant power and exacting detail. The classic chef knife is crafted from Japanese Damascus Steel, with 67 layers of high carbon stainless steel, outfitted with an ebony wood handle and water buffalo horn bolster. An investment in artistry to be easily enjoyed daily, it reimagines the task of slicing, dicing and chopping into fine art. Handmade to order by a small team in Los Angeles, each sustainable creation from Wooden Palate graces the countertop with considered proportions, handsome detailing, and striking simplicity. The Edge Board was created for quick cutting jobs around the kitchen, featuring routered handles on both sides. A naturally antibacterial material that pushes bacteria out of the grain organically as it dries, solid wood cutting boards are ideal for prepping any ingredient from vegetables to raw meat.

Athena’s Cutting Board Care Instructions: To clean board, wash regularly with soap and water and let dry. To maintain moisture and keep wood healthy, apply a small amount of board butter after cleaning or anytime the board appears dry. To remove smells such as garlic and lemon, apply half a lemon and coarse salt scrub to the surface of the board, scrub thoroughly and rinse. Do not fully submerge in water. Design is not dishwasher safe.
